Geeks' CEO David Hartshorn will present at this workshop to talk about lessons learned and the n50 Project work for connectivity for Ukraine refugees.
Under the auspices of Digital Connectivity and Cybersecurity Partnership, CLDP and Bureau of Cyberspace and Digital Policy at the U.S. Department of state are hosting a 3-day workshop on Secure 5G for Southeast Europe in Zagreb, Croatia. The workshop will focus on secure 5G deployment, open RAN, and vendor diversity. Expert U.S. agencies, private sector representatives, and global partners will lend their expertise to participants from over 11 countries including from Western Balkans, Caucasus, and Croatia. The goal of the conference is to promote open, secure, and interoperable 5G deployment in like with DCCP principles, and to identify areas of technical assistance for government stakeholders.

GWF/N50's Kevin Schwartz and PicoNet's Rajeev RK will present at IETF 114 on 27 June 2022 at 10:00am ET to present on the the N50 Project's Luumbo, Zambia Community Project.
IETF Code Sprints, organized by the IETF Tools Team bring together volunteers from the IETF community to work on code for the IETF Datatracker, mailing lists, and other tools used by the IETF community. Some people may be working on improvements in existing functionality, others may be adding exciting new functionality. All code will becomes part of the open source tools used to develop IETF specifications.
IETF Hackathons encourage developers and subject matter experts to collaborate and develop utilities, ideas, sample code and solutions that show practical implementations of IETF standards.

NTTA and Gila River Telecommunications, Inc. are hosting this Summit with a focus on helping tribes identify funding sources, build/maintain/monetie a network and plan fora future of broadband.
The purpose of NTTA is to provide a forum for tribally owned companies and those who work in the telecommunications industry, to share knowledge and opportunities, discuss effects of regulation and address issues affecting tribal telcos and customers on tribal lands.
NTTA's mission is to be the national advocate for telecommunications service on behalf of its member telephone companies and to provide guidance and assistance to members who are working to providing modern telecommunications services to tribal lands.

The N50 Project is an official affiliate of NDIA (National Digital Inclusion Alliance) and is participating in NDIA's Digital Inclusion Week, which is an annual week of awareness, recognition, and celebration. We are one of many organizations and individuals across the country hosting special events and campaigns to promote digital equity in their communities and we are proud to share a special 2-day Thought Leadership Forum on Digital Inclusion.
Thursday October 6th will feature sessions open to the public which will include an overview of N50 and how to join our efforts.
On Friday, October 7th we will have an expanded partner meeting which will extend into the day with purposefully designed sessions just for partners of N50. (Not an N50 partner yet? Learn more & Join the N50 here)
